Thisum Buddhika completed his bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from University of Moratuwa in 2011. During the university time he was interested in the area of machine learning and computer vision. In the final year, this passion motivated him to do the final year project on building a decision support system with the aid of machine learning techniques, with two of his colleagues.
After the graduation he has worked in a software company for four and half years. Even when he was working in the industry, the passion in machine learning and computer vision had driven him to continually learn the subjects, most of the time online courses. With the interest in explore more into those subjects he had decided to join with the Augmented Human Lab at SUTD.
